1. Go under the Apple menu and select control panels
2. Choose "General Controls" (on Performa systems, this is inthe "Performa" control panel)
3. On the bottom left, uncheck "Protect System Folder"
4. Close the window
1. Go to the folder where the item is and click it once to "highlight"it
2. Go under the File menu and choose "Get Info..."
3. Uncheck the "Locked" box on the bottom left
